Grassroots involves using low cost alternatives to get the word out.  The documents linked on this page below are pdfs you can download and use to post, handout, mail, and inform other people.  Every vote does count, so our mission is to engage more people so they better understand the issues and can make the best decision for themselves and their community.

Measure 66 & 67 documents

Top Ten Whoppers from the Job Stoppers – If you are like most folks, you need some kind of instruction guide.  This document was created by Oregonians Against Job-Killing Taxes and can help you better understand the point and counter point arguments.

Vote No On 66 & 67 – While there is a shortage of yard signs, there is no shortage of paper.  Print this one page poster and hang on your walls, windows, and bulletin boards.

Payroll Stuffers – These are 1/3 sheet payroll / mailer stuffer with information about measures 66 & 67.  Another good use is to print out and cut a dozen or so and leave on the news rack of your favorite coffee shop.

Oregon Economists Oppose 2009 Legislature’s Permanent Tax Increases – Do you know what you get when you bring ten economists into the same room to give an opinion?  12 opinions.  HOWEVER, the yes side is using the argument that some economist said these tax increases are good.  Here is a document produced by ten economists who happen to have the same opinion that measures 66 & 67 would be bad.  Use this letter to send to friends who tell you an economist said we should pass the taxes.
